GPA Travel Baseball teams

Phase 1 focuses on our players who are in the 6th grade and under. At this age we place great emphasis on teaching the proper fundamentals and “IQ” of the game. With this information functioning as the building blocks for the continuation of their baseball careers in the future, it will additionally allow for an easier transition into more complex material. Through our player’s introduction into phase 1, our staff will additionally highlight the fun within the competitive nature of the game, creating a natural spark in our players.

Phase 2 focuses on our players who are in 7th and 8th grade. In this phase, we strive to prepare our players for their high school tryouts as well as their overarching academic experience. We will place emphasis on more advanced IQ skills such as defensive plays and executional hitting, all of which will be expected from their respective high school baseball coaches. Additionally, we will challenge our players to learn the concept of time management in order to excel both in and out of the high school classroom.

GPA’s final phase places emphasis on our high school players who are preparing to embark on their collegiate baseball journey. At this phase, we are focusing on making your athlete the most competitive, intelligent, and skilled high school player that they can be. With that, we discuss the importance of college showcase events and train our athletes to perform to their best ability when in front of college scouts. Additionally, we have a unique program set up for college recruiting that will inform both you and your player about the college recruiting process. Through our vast college network, we are able to help connect our players with some of the most elite college scouts.
